Essex Buildings offers metal buildings through our Lease-to-Own program. Here are the questions we hear most often.
What is Lease-to-Own?
Lease-to-Own lets you get a metal building with monthly payments instead of paying the full price up front. You pick the building, pay the deposit, and make monthly payments over the term you choose. At the end of the term, the building is yours.
Is a credit check required?
No. There is no credit check with our Lease-to-Own program.
How much do I pay up front?
The standard deposit is 17% of the building price.
What payment terms are available?
Terms of 24, 36, 48, and 60 months are available. Your monthly payment depends on the building price, the deposit, and the term you choose.
What does 90 Days Same As Cash mean?
On 24- and 36-month terms, you get 90 Days Same As Cash: if you pay the building off within the first 90 days, it costs the same as paying cash. There are no origination fees on 24- and 36-month terms.
What kinds of buildings qualify?
Carports, garages, barns, RV covers, and loafing sheds all qualify. Buildings from $3,000 to $30,000 qualify, with $30,000 as the program cap. Final pricing varies by ZIP code, so request a quote for your location.
Are there any other fees?
There is no security deposit. Monthly payment estimates are plus local tax.

We deliver across 22 states, including Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
How long does it take to get my building?
Manufacturing and installation typically take 3 to 5 weeks.
